Without Further Delay

The first incar­na­tion of NorthernTV is now play­ing. We have some lofty aspi­ra­tions for what NorthernTV can become but we have decided to bring you what can best be described as ver­sion 0.0.  This ver­sion is not the HD chan­nel full of com­pelling con­tent that we hope to bring you in the future, but we think it is a good place, and time, to start. Telegram — “We Look And See”

Almost 2 years ago, I was intro­duced to a guy named Nick, who had a very com­pelling voice and wrote some great songs.  Not to men­tion he was/​is a fel­low Star Wars nut.  Instant love, and we’ve been work­ing on stuff since then, fight­ing all obsta­cles man-​​made (self-​​made) and oth­er­wise.  We have released 3 songs, the first of a tri­ol­ogy of 3P’s, called “We Look And See”.  It is a great plea­sure to work with Nick, and the icing on the cake for me per­son­ally is that I got to play a whole lot of gui­tar and bass on it as well.  Yay for delay pedals!“Who You Are” is the old­est song, and went through a few ver­sions.  Tracked, retracked.  Sung, resung.  Its one of those songs that hit me as a ‘clas­sic’ on the first lis­ten.  Beautiful.“Planet Emily” arrived this sum­mer, and got remolded a bit by Barrett Slagle when he mixed it.  Thanks to power of mod­ern tech­nol­ogy, it got a much needed kick in the pants.“Sleeping In” came very recently, and blew me away.  Fast, loud, and a great melody.  And fuzz gui­tar.  Yay for fuzz guitar!More on the way.
